Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
This page is provided so you can exercise your rights under California's CCPA / CPRA and similar privacy laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws.
Opt out of "sale" and "sharing" for advertising on this website
This opens the consent preferences panel. Toggle Marketing off and save to opt out.
What "sale" and "sharing" mean here
California's CCPA / CPRA define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include cross-context behavioral advertising — when a website allows third-party advertising or analytics partners to collect identifiers (like device IDs or hashed emails) that can be matched to you elsewhere on the open web.
On this website, that includes our marketing pixel (Sitelytics / Delivr.ai), which is part of how identity resolution works. If you opt out, the pixel will not load on your device.
What opting out does
- The marketing pixel (Sitelytics / Delivr.ai) will not load on your device on this site.
- Google Analytics 4 will continue to operate in Consent Mode v2 with cookieless pings only (no advertising signals).
- Strictly-necessary cookies remain (the site can't function without them).
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal automatically. If your browser sends GPC, we treat that as a valid opt-out request — you don't need to click anything on this page.
Browsers and extensions that support GPC include Brave, DuckDuckGo, Firefox (with the setting enabled), and the Privacy Badger extension.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may need to verify your identity directly. Send authorized agent requests to jessica@freedom-project.com.
Other privacy rights
In addition to opting out of sale/sharing, you may have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. To exercise any of these, see our Privacy Policy — U.S. Rights section, or email jessica@freedom-project.com.
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service for exercising any of these rights.
Verifiable consumer requests
For "right to know" or "right to delete" requests, we may need to verify your identity by matching information you provide with information we already hold about you. We respond to verified requests within 45 days; we may extend this once by another 45 days for complex requests, and will notify you if we do.
One-stop opt-out alternative: If you'd rather opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising across many sites at once, the IAB's U.S. Privacy Web Choices tool sets the usp opt-out signal for participating publishers and partners.
